Time to Redefine 'Torture' All Over Again

Okay , what does this mean:
Most Americans and a majority of people in Britain, France and South Korea say torturing terrorism suspects is justified at least in rare instances, according to AP-Ipsos polling.
Hmm. Can we now hook suspected terrorists to dog leashes, put hoods on their heads, wrap them in Israeli flags, tell them red Magic Marker marks on paper is menstrual blood and urinate on their Korans? Or, you know, play Billy Idol tunes at full-volume while leaving the lights on in their cell all night?

Or does this mean we can put splinters under their fingernails and hook their nutsacks to car batteries?

You know, I thought we had this whole torture meme figured out, and now it turns out that we're really in favor of torturing certain kinds of people under certain kinds of situations. Dang. I thought I'd read so much about how that wasn't the case. Or am I just right, again?

I guess you just can't trust what you read on the Internet. Unless you read it here.
